SONA 2011, the cause of RGMA’s hospitalization?

Yesterday was another history as PNoy addressed his SONA 2011 during the 15th Congress. While listening to his State-of-the-Nation address, I had this feeling that people will again give comments in the tune of being unsatisfied. When I got home and listen to the news, I was right with my haunch.

Many criticized PNoy’s SONA that it was reflecting the real state of the nation. In fact, right after delivering his speech, the representative of Ibon Foundation who was in GMA News commented that he missed out many important aspects of the Philippines’ current status.

Well if you come to think of it, if you are the president of the country, do you ever want to include in your address the negative things the country is currently undergoing? Call it fake but in any SONA, it has always been “glossing” – adding shine to issues so that it will appear pleasant to the people. Do you ever want to listen to a speech which features mostly negative situations? I doubt if you will. Since I learned how to operate the television and the radio, I have not heard of any SONA that reflects the 99.9% status of the country. As the listeners, let us just be keen to segregate truth from fiction.

Few hours after PNoys finished delivering his SONA, a breaking news was received stating that the Former President GMA was rushed into the hospital because sun pain felt on his nape area.

For sure, though GMA did not attend the SONA in the Congress, she was watching the television from somewhere else. I just have this gut feeling that that pain aggravated because stress – not from work but from the too-many-to-count charges filed against her, one of which is plunder.

Former President Erap must be very excited now because his prison cell before will now be cleaned and will be used (cross-my-finger, according to Erap) for GMA (if found guilty in the charges).

1B Coffee

I am so excited to taste the coffee that is worth 1 billion.

I cannot fathom on how thick the face is of the former PAGCOR chairman who approved the budget for a coffee that is worth 1B. Are there gold dusts or diamond dusts mixed with this coffee that is why such is the price? Will this coffee give you an additional 20 years to leave every time you drink? Or, will this make the casino gamers win the lottery or any game they play when they sip this coffee?

Whatever reason you will have, the aroma of corruption can never be hidden.
